Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
You’ll be picked up from your hotel or the airport and transferred to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the Great Rift Valley, escarpments, and open savannahs below. Upon landing at the Mara airstrip, your guide will meet you for a game drive en route to the camp or lodge. After check-in and lunch, relax before heading out on your afternoon game drive. This first drive introduces you to the stunning wildlife of the Mara elephants, giraffes, zebras and possibly lions or cheetahs, all against a backdrop of endless plains.
Day 2: Full Day Safari in Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, spend the full day exploring Masai Mara, Kenya’s most celebrated game reserve. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard as well as countless antelope species, hippos, crocodiles and over 450 bird species. Between drives, relax at your camp and take in the peaceful surroundings. A picnic lunch may be arranged if you choose to stay out in the reserve for the full day. Optional experiences include a sunrise hot air balloon safari followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush, or a cultural visit to a Maasai village to learn about traditional customs and lifestyle (available at extra cost).
Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Fly Back to Nairobi
Start your final day with a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active and the light is perfect for photography. Return to camp for breakfast, then check out and transfer to the airstrip for your late morning flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, a driver will transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or onward to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your departure flight.

Kenya is a year-round destination, but the dry seasons (June to October and January to March) offer the best wildlife viewing. The Great Migration in the Masai Mara peaks between July and August, while the coast is sunniest from December to March.
